ABANDONED & NATURE SESSIONS
“The Keeper”
The last rays of sunlight brush against the concrete of the Makedonium. In this suspended moment,
past and present cross paths in silence.
Here, in 1903, men and women believed in a free future, before their dream was crushed.
Decades later, other insurgents took up the torch.
Every era has its battles, its illusions, its rebirths.
Facing this visionary architecture, both a monument and mystery, i let the frequencies explore the space.
They slip into the cracks of time, embrace the scars of the place, and converse with the unseen.
Somewhere within these walls, something endures. A presence. A memory.
A keeper of what once was and what still lingers.
It is not about nostalgia or celebration.
Just listening. Being here.
Inhabiting what remains.
Endless gratitude to Boris and the municipality of Kruševo for allowing us to play in front of the Makedonium, one of the few spomeniks still maintained to this day.
